Federico Viticci found out that in iOS11, Apple took the effort to remove Google AMP versions of a link and redirect users to the original source URL if you use iMessage or Apple’s Reading List feature. This is a very interesting step that’s likely being done because either users have trouble with AMP URLs and/or Apple is trying to avoid using a third-party proxy that can go away any time or change the content of the original URLs.
